The FSTest Enrofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin Rapid Test Kit utilizes immunochromatography for the qualitative detection of total residues of enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin in seafood, livestock and poultry tissues, and poultry egg samples. As broad-spectrum quinolone antibacterials with strong tissue penetration, enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin are widely used in veterinary medicine; however, potential drug resistance and toxicity necessitate strict monitoring. This kit provides a simple, rapid, and visual screening solution suitable for on-site testing by enterprises, laboratories, and regulatory agencies.

Test Procedure

Step 1: Sample Preparation & Extraction
Grind >100g representative sample (tissues, seafood, or shelled eggs including yolk and white) with a homogenizer. Weigh 1.0g homogenized sample into a 15mL centrifuge tube, add 5mL Extraction Solution, cap tightly, and vigorously shake for 1 minute (shake tissues/seafood until evenly dispersed; shake eggs until flocculent dispersion is achieved).

Step 2: Centrifugation & Dilution
Centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 5 minutes. Transfer 100µL of the supernatant to a 2mL centrifuge tube, add 900µL of Dilution Solution, and mix thoroughly for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Assay Execution & Result Reading
Ensure cassette is at 20–40°C. Pipette 100µL of prepared sample solution into a microwell, mix 3–5 times, and let stand for 3 minutes. Transfer all mixed solution to the sample well of the cassette. Read results at 8–10 minutes (results are invalid after 15 minutes).

The FSTest Enrofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin Rapid Test Kit provides reliable qualitative screening for enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin in total at a Limit of Detection (LOD) of 100 µg/kg.

Result Interpretation:

· Negative (-): Both C (Control) line and T (Test) line appear.

· Positive (+): C line appears; T line does not appear.

· Invalid: C line fails to appear, regardless of T line presence.
